15 Luxury Brand Colour Combinations

Luxury is rarely about bright, saturated colour. Premium brands tend to use deep, muted or neutral tones, a lot of space, and one carefully chosen accent. The result feels calm, confident and expensive.

Below are 15 original luxury colour combinations with HEX codes you can copy straight into Canva, Adobe Express or your website. Each palette lists a dark, a light and one or two accents, with suggestions for the businesses it suits.

The rule that makes any palette look premium

Use the 60–30–10 rule: around 60% of a design in your main neutral, 30% in a secondary colour, and just 10% in your accent. Luxury brands often push this further, using the accent for only a logo, a thin line or a button.

How to use these palettes

  • Keep text readable. Use the darkest colour for body text on light backgrounds, and the lightest on dark backgrounds. Metallic tones are best for large headings, lines and logos rather than small text.
  • Print a proof. Metallic colours like gold and copper look flat when printed in ordinary ink. For true shine, ask your printer about foil.
  • Record every format. Save HEX for screens and ask your printer for CMYK equivalents.
  • Use photography that matches. Warm palettes need warm photos; cool palettes need cool ones.
